Hailing from a farm in rural Arizona, Nate Ruess, a singer/songwriter, gained prominence with indie pop band the Format. However, he's best recognized as the charismatic frontman of the Grammy-winning trio Fun. Ruess infused the band's music with his introspective lyrics, exploring themes of solitude and self-value against a backdrop of infectious, anthemic melodies. Fun.'s achievements culminated in the 2013 Grammy win for Best Song and Best New Artist. Beyond Fun., Ruess collaborated on Ke$ha's "Warrior" and featured on P!nk's chart-topping track "Just Give Me a Reason." In 2015, he launched his solo venture with the album "Grand Romantic."
