In 2020, his solo debut "El Dorado," produced with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, earned him a GRAMMY® nomination for “Best Americana Album.” The album received acclaim from NPR, Rolling Stone, and the Associated Press. King has shared stages with Chris Stapleton, Greta Van Fleet, and Nathanial Rateliff, catching the eye of producer Rick Rubin and signing with American Recordings.
