Loco Dice was born and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany, in a multicultural household with Tunisian roots. This diverse upbringing shaped the unique musical vision that would define his groundbreaking career in electronic music.
Before emerging as an electronic icon, Dice was firmly rooted in hip-hop. Throughout the 1990s, he honed his craft as a DJ and rapper, touring globally both solo and alongside legends such as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and the Death Row Crew. That rhythmic sensibility carried over as he transitioned into house and techno at the millennium’s turn.
His breakout single Phat Dope Shit (2002) marked the shift, followed by 7 Dunham Place (2008) on his Desolat label, Underground Sound Suicide (2015) on Ultra Music featuring Giggs, Just Blaze, and Neneh Cherry, and Love Letters (2018), a club-focused showcase. Across decades, his discography has spanned dozens of EPs on Ovum, Minus, and Cocoon, alongside remixes for Kevin Saunderson, Moby, Black Coffee, Disclosure, Warren G, and Basement Jaxx. Recent highlights include Heavy Heart, a collaboration with Skrillex and Fireboy DML.
On stage, Loco Dice is celebrated for charismatic DJ sets, from intimate basements to massive main stages at Coachella, Tomorrowland, Ultra, and EDC. His era-defining Ibiza residencies at Circoloco (DC-10), Amnesia Terrace, and Space Miami further cemented his status.
In lockdown, Dice launched En Coleur for his own productions and later founded SB Recordings, embracing all styles of dance music. He has also ventured beyond clubs—creating runway soundtracks for Marcelo Burlon during Milan Fashion Week, appearing in PlayStation2’s Decks & FX, and blending hip-hop with electronic sounds under his FKD side project.
Known for his sharp fashion sense, he has collaborated with Daily Paper, New Era, and his own brand Seran Bendecidos. Through constant reinvention, Loco Dice remains a creative force bridging genres and cultures.
