About Granger Smith

After 24 years as a platinum-selling, award-winning country music artist, Granger Smith stepped away from the spotlight to pursue a higher calling in ministry. Inspired by the tragic loss of his son, River, he authored Like A River, a New York Times bestseller, followed by the heartfelt children’s book Up Toward the Light, drawn from the same story.

Now serving in his local church and studying for a Master’s Degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Smith is devoted to faith and family. He continues to share his journey as a speaker, author, and host of the nationally syndicated iHeartRadio show After Midnite with Granger Smith.
