David Garibaldi, a Sacramento native, has always been a creator—whether through trumpet, graffiti, animation, or dance. Though inspired by a high school teacher to pursue art, a lack of graduation credits changed his course. At 18, he was drifting, working odd jobs, and searching for purpose.
At 20, Garibaldi found it—live painting at jazz clubs to survive. His performances evolved into full-scale shows after discovering performance painting icon Denny Dent. From 2003 to 2012, Garibaldi performed over 100 shows a year for major brands, schools, and even toured with Blue Man Group. By 30, he achieved his goal of raising $1 million for charity.
In 2012, his rise continued as a finalist on America’s Got Talent, leading to collaborations with Disney, Cirque Du Soleil, and opening for KISS on their farewell tour.
Post-2020, Garibaldi has expanded his digital reach to millions, launched a podcast, live-streamed regularly, and began teaching his methods online. His latest venture, PAINT+, is an on-demand platform built on his PAINT philosophy—Passion, Action, Intent, New, Teach—designed to guide and empower emerging artists to find their own creative path.
