Brett Eldredge is an American country music singer, songwriter, and record producer working with Warner Music Group Nashville. As a singer, Brett has five different number singles that have topped the charts, including favorites like "Don't Ya" and "Mean to Me ."Before his music career, Brett was born and raised in Paris, Illinois. He would go on to study at Elmhurst College before getting involved in Nashville's music scene.
One of Brett's earliest works includes "I Think I've Had Enough," which he co-wrote for Gary Allan for his album, Get Off on the Pain. In 2010, Brett signed with Atlantic Records and released his debut album, Raymond, which would debut at number 52 on the charts. In 2010, this would also be the first time Brett performed at the Grand Ole Opry. His third single, "Don't Ya," would receive the most attention, and it would be the first single of his to reach the top 20 of the Hot Country Songs chart.
Since then, Brett has created several different albums, seven in total. His recent release, Songs About You, was released in 2022. Brett has received numerous accolades for his work as a singer and songwriter. He's received multiple awards for his songs "Don't Ya" and "Beat of the Music," as well as "Mean to Me." His most recent award from BMI Country Award for Song of the Year in 2015. As an artist, Brett’s work is surely not finished, and he’s currently working on new music for his fans to enjoy.
