MIKA, born Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr. in Beirut in 1983, is a vibrant pop icon known for his modern twist on classic songwriting. He wrote his first song at seven while living in Paris and left London’s Royal College of Music to pursue music full-time. Debuting as MIKA in 2006 with “Relax, Take It Easy,” his 2007 album "Life In Cartoon Motion" included hits like “Lollipop” and “Grace Kelly.” His subsequent albums, from 2009's "The Boy Who Knew Too Much" to 2019's "My Name Is Michael Holbrook," reflect his evolving songwriting and diverse musical influences.
