Overcoming writer's block, he released the groundbreaking "Voodoo" in 2000, exploring love, fatherhood, and spirituality. Despite a hiatus, he returned in 2014 with "Black Messiah," addressing sociopolitical issues and cementing his status as a historical musical figure.
