Steve Angello, artist, DJ, producer, and Swedish House Mafia co-founder, discovered his passion for music as a child in Sweden. Early on, he collaborated with childhood friend Sebastian Ingrosso before launching his own label, Size, in 2003. He later joined forces with Axwell in Supermode, achieving success with the hit “Tell Me Why.” In 2008, Angello co-founded Swedish House Mafia alongside Axwell and Ingrosso, leading to international acclaim.
Swedish House Mafia earned back-to-back GRAMMY® nominations for “Best Dance Recording” with the platinum-certified “Save the World” (2012) and the quintuple-platinum “Don’t You Worry Child” (2013). They sold out iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and Milton Keynes Bowl, while headlining Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, and more.
As a solo artist, Angello became a mainstay on DJ Mag’s “Top 100 DJs” list for fourteen years and won two DJ Awards. He created official remixes for Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Fergie, and Moby. His debut album, Wild Youth, showcased his evolving sound, followed by Human (2018), featuring collaborations with Bishop T.D. Jakes (“Rejoice”), Pusha T (“Freedom”), and Barns Courtney (“Dopamine”).
In 2021, Swedish House Mafia returned triumphantly with Paradise Again, their long-awaited debut album, topping both the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and the UK Dance Albums Chart. They followed it with the Paradise Again World Tour, spanning 29 cities across 11 countries and two continents.
