Ricky Gervais is an English comedian, writer, actor, and director. Best known for his work on the British sitcom, The Office from 2001 to 2003, he would become a well-known comedian and actor in his own right. Over the course of his career, he has won numerous accolades including seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards, two Emmy Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards.
