Minnesota's Night Moves, formed in 2010 by high school friends, blends '70s rock with Americana, featuring hooky indie pop and Nashville twang. Comprising guitarist/lead vocalist John Pelant, bassist Mickey Alfano, and multi-instrumentalist Mark Ritsema, the band emerged from Twin Cities music scene veterans. Eschewing frequent live shows, they focused on meticulous practice and songwriting, evident in their debut album "Colored Emotions." After gaining traction, Domino Records signed them and reissued the album. Their subsequent releases, "Pennied Days" and "Can You Really Find Me," showcased a greater pop influence, maintaining their unique sound.
