HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis
Created by comedy icon Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) and world-renowned hypnotist Asad Mecci, HYPROV is a mind-blowing fusion of hypnosis and improv. Called “hilarious and fascinating” by Time Out New York and “a celebration of the human imagination” by The Times of London, this one-of-a-kind show delivers laughs and surprises from start to finish.
The 85–100 minute experience kicks off with Mecci hypnotizing 20 audience volunteers. From there, the most receptive participants—dubbed the “Hyprovisors”—join Mochrie on stage to perform a completely improvised show while still under hypnosis.
With scenes driven entirely by the Hyprovisors’ unconscious minds and guided by two masters of their craft, no two performances are ever the same. Add in spontaneous music and audience interaction, and you’ve got a theatrical event like nothing else.
