Defining Helder Guimarães is not an easy task. A constant student of all things meant to awe, deceive and mystify, that uses all of this uncommon knowledge in diverse creative ways. Born in Porto, Portugal and exposed to the art of prestidigitation at the early age of 4, Helder developed his brain around illusions. At university, he graduated in theatre studies to master the art of storytelling. Helder spent seven years travelling worldwide, deepening his knowledge of human psychology and sleight-of-hand to combine all of his findings in a unique point of view. Between shows, prizes and accolades, he managed to be involved in a wide variety of projects like marketing campaigns for brands like Coca-Cola or personally training Oscar-winning actresses Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett for their roles in the movie Ocean’s 8. Currently living in Los Angeles, Helder enjoys using his creativity to create something new every day.
