She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marine Science/Biology from the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science and soon after co-founded the nonprofit Big Blue & You, dedicated to inspiring youth through art, science, and media.
When not filming or speaking, Danni is an avid scuba diver, paddleboarder, and social media influencer. As her alter ego “The Mocha Mermaid,” she travels the world hosting retreats and appearances, engaging communities with conservation efforts and ocean education.
