BlackHawk is an American country band founded in 1992 by Henry Paul, Van Stephenson, and Dave Robbins. Van Stephenson has since left the band, but they continue to see significant success today. In 1992, BlackHawk signed their first record deal with Arista Nashville, where they would release their first album, "Goodbye Says It All ."The single would peak at number eleven on the charts and lead to a double-certified multi-platinum RIAA record.
After this release, they would continue to chart several other singles in the 1990s. BlackHawk saw significant success with three more albums and a Greatest Hits package released for their fans. Their second album, Strong Enough, would be released in 1995, and their third album, Love & Gravity, would be released in 1997. In the 2000s, BlackHawk continued to tour, and they released their sixth studio album, Down from the Mountain, which would also receive significant acclaim.
Their latest releases as a band have been their 2020 album, Just About Right: Live From Atlanta, and their 2022 release, Blue Highway. In 1993, they were also nominated for the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Vocal Group or Duet. They are still making music, releasing content, and working on their next big album, so fans are waiting in anticipation for their next big release!
