Amanda Seyfried was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she would venture into the world of modeling and acting at the age of eleven years old. She would begin with roles like Lucy Montgomery on As the World Turns, and Joni Stafford on All My Children. She would first gain more recognition when she would feature in the cult classic, Mean Girls, as one of the Plastics. She would also star as Lilly Kane in Veronica Mars, from 2004 until 2006.

She received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. She was also named one of the most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2022.
In her personal life, Amanda Seyfried has two children with her husband, Thomas Sadoski. They were married in 2017. She’s also a board member of the NGO INARA, which provides medical services for children who have been wounded in war zones, more specifically focusing on Syrian refugee children today.
