She's also well known for her contribution to Blue Mountain State and Beauty & the Beast. In 2020, she had a momentary fear that acting was not her calling, nearly about to leave the business when she got the call for Schitt’s Creek. After that, she starred on the award-winning show for all six seasons until the end, in January 2020.
Annie Murphy is also highly involved in activism, as she is an ambassador for Care Canada. She focuses on empowering women and girls and giving back to the community. She is also married to Menno Versteeg, the lead singer of Anyway Gang and Hollerado.
