Courtney Hadwin is an English singer and songwriter who rose to prominence by competing on the TV shows, The Voice Kids UK, and America’s Got Talent. She was born in England in 2004, and she lives with her parents and younger sister and younger brother. She was a 2018 a finalist on the TV show,America’s Got Talent. She would fist audition for her first singing competition in 2015 at TeenStar, singing Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love”. She would reach the grand finale.
Following this, she would also appear as the opening act for Sister Sledge at a South Tyneside Festival, where she would sing for more than 18,000 people. She also sang at an event in 2018 in Southampton to help raise money for children with disabilities. Hadwin would blind-audition for The Voice Kids UK, performing Tina Turner’s “Nutbush City Limits”. She would be eliminated as a finalist, but ultimately make it almost to the end of the contest as the winner.
In 2018, she would audition for the thirteenth season of the TV show, America’s Got Talent, where she would sing Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle”. In December of 2018, she would sign a record deal with Syco Entertainment and Arista Records. Since her time on the TV shows, she has released two albums including her 2019 The Cover Sessions and Happy Xmas (the war is over) in 2020. She continues to make music and as one of the youngest contestants on many of these shows, she continues to show promise and stunning ability in her ability to sing and create amazing performances.
