Diego Boneta is a Mexican actor, singer, and producer who has become well known in the industry. Diego would earn more attention after starring on Rock of Ages alongside Tom Cruise. He also starred in the biographical series, Luis Miguel: The Series on Netflix in 2018. Other than that, he would release his self-titled first album in 2005 with his single, “Responde”. He would also release Brazilian versions of these songs in 2006, and then go onto to release his second album, Indigo, in 2008.
As the son of two engineers, he would have triple citizenship, having citizenship in America, Spain, and Mexico. Boneta’s acting career has been since the 2000s, when he would begin to star in shows such as Pretty Little Liars and 90210. He would also star in Mean Girls 2 alongside Meaghan Martin and Jennifer Stone. He was named the “next big thing” in 2012 after Rock of Ages, where he was compared to Channing Tatum and Zac Efron. Since then, he has been in numerous projects including Scream Queens, Underemployed, and The Dovekeepers. More recently, he starred in Father of the Bride, which is set to come out later this year.
