Cuco is also known as Omar Banos, and he hails from Hawthorne, California. He is a Chicano singer-songwriter, and he became famous after releasing his song, “Lo Que Siento”, which would attract over 191 million streams on Spotify alone in 2017. He would also release two EPs on his own, Wannabewithu and Songs4u, which were released in 2017 and 2017 respectively, just after he graduated from high school. He would release his first studio album in 2019 with Interscope Records, titled Para Mi.

His musical styling is more bedroom pop, indie-pop, synthpop, and indie rock or lo-fi. His most recent single, “Caution” was released as part of the album, Fantasy Gateway. He was also a featured artist on “La novela”, which was released in 2022 with Boy Pablo.
