Craig Ferguson is a Scottish American late night talk show host, comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for his work on the CBS late-night talk show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He would be the host of this show from 2005 until 2014, and it would earn him a Peabody Award in 2009 after he interviewed the South African archbishop Desmond Tutu. He has also hosted the game show, Celebrity Name Game, from 2014 until 2017.
Ferguson would start his career in the United Kingdom where he would become involved in comedy, theatre, and music. He would then move to the U.S. where he would earn the role of Nigel Wick on The Drew Carrey Show from 1996 until 2004. He would also write three novels during his career, and he has obtained both British and American citizenship respectively after spending plenty of time in America for his work.
Ferguson also wrote and starred in three different movies. He was the voice of Gobber in How to Train Your Dragon for the entire film series, Owl in Winnie the Pooh, and Lord Macintosh in Brave. Since 2021, he has also been the host of the TV show, The Hustler, featured on the ABC television network.
