Angelica Hale was born in Atlanta and is a Filipino American singer. From a young age, she wanted to compete and become a singer, beginning vocal lessons at a young age. When she was four years old, she suffered severe bacterial pneumonia and nearly died, but she received a lifesaving kidney transplant from her mother and would continue to learn music and work with vocal coaches in the area. From this, she would begin to think more about her future, which is why she would eventually desire to compete in a talent competition.
In 2017, she would compete on the twelfth season of the TV show, America’s Got Talent. She would make it all the way until the very end, but she would be a runner up, but the youngest runner up in the show's history. She was also a finalist on the accompanying TV show,America’s Got Talent: The Champions, after she received the golden buzzer from Howie Mandel, and she was placed in the bottom seven of the top 12. After her time on the TV show, she will become the first child ambassador for the National Kidney Foundation.
Additionally, she would also dive deeper into her music, releasing her debut single, “Feel the Magic”, about her own experiences in the music industry. She also said that music helps her to express herself and it was a personal journey for her to write her debut single. Aside from her music, she also has become an actress as well. She voices the character Maya and the TV show, Maya Unstoppable, and she also was part of the movie, American Reject. In her personal life, she also was younger sister who was born in Santa Monica while she was competing on the TV show in 2017.
