Mario first gained fame with hits like “Just a Friend 2002” and “Let Me Love You.” After a hiatus since 2009, he's returning with "Dancing Shadows" on his label, New Citizen. Hailing from Baltimore and known for his church singing, Mario signed with Clive Davis’ J Records, releasing his debut album in 2002 featuring “Just a Friend 2002.” His sophomore album, "Turning Point," delivered the chart-topper “Let Me Love You.” His subsequent albums, "Go" and "D.N.A.," showcased hits like “Crying Out for Me” and “Break Up.” Mario's recent works include the 2020 EP “Closer To Mars” and 2021’s “Get Back” featuring Chris Brown. He continues to enrich his R&B portfolio with 2023 releases “Like Her Loo” and “Used To Me” ft Ty Dolla $ign.
