Vocalist/bassist Tyson Ritter and guitarist Nick Wheeler were best friends in high school in Stillwater, Oklahoma, when they founded The All-American Rejects in 2000. And while their emo-pop band has traveled far and wide and sold millions of albums in the years since, their music retains an irrepressible energy and infectious scrappiness, two qualities that seem quintessentially teenaged in the best sense.

The band's debut self-titled studio album, released in 2002 on DreamWorks Records, was a major success and certified platinum by the RIAA. It featured the hit single "Swing, Swing."
Their second album, "Move Along," released in 2005, achieved further mainstream success with hit singles like "Dirty Little Secret," "Move Along," and "It Ends Tonight." The album was certified double platinum.
In 2008, their third studio album, "When the World Comes Down," was certified gold and featured the highly successful single "Gives You Hell."
The band's fourth album, "Kids in the Street," debuted at number 18 on the US Billboard 200 in 2012.
The All-American Rejects have sold over 10 million albums worldwide and earned rankings on Billboard's lists of top artists.
They continue to tour and have released new singles like "Sweat" in 2017 and "Send Her to Heaven" in 2019 on their new label Epitaph.
