Ta-Nehisi Coates is a writer and a journalist from America with a broad base of readers after he was a correspondent for the Atlantic. Ta-Nehisi was interested in books from a young age and would regularly write essays as a young kid. He would read as many books as his father had published since his father was working for Black Classic Press at the time.
Following his primary education, Ta-Nehisi Coates would attend Howard University and study journalism. There, he would collect the knowledge and skills needed to get his first job at The Washington City Paper. He worked there for a few years and wrote for Philadelphia Weekly, The Village Voice, and Time. His first article for the Atlantic was "This is How We Lost to the White Man." After publishing this article, he would receive a regular column with the Atlantic.
As an author, Ta-Nehisi Coates has published several works. The Beautiful Struggle was released in 2008 as a memoir about growing up in Baltimore and how it changed him. He would also post Between the World and Me, Black Panther, and We Were Eight Years in Power.Additionally, Ta-Nehisi has also written for Black Panther and Captain America for the Marvel Comics publications.
