Memorial Day weekend was a little busier then most this year, as I spent part of the weekend photographing Sarah’s Bat Mitzvah. We did a big portrait session on Sunday, including lots of extended family that were in town and then Monday, after her service, everyone partied down and shook it loose on the dance floor. The party room was wonderfully decked out, including one of the largest dessert tables I’ve seen in while. It had everything. Howard and the crew from Total Entertain got Sarah and her guests jumping on the dance floor, starting with a great Horah that must have lasted 20 minutes. Wow. After that, things settled down a bit with a very nice candle lighting ceremony lead by Sarah’s uncle, then lunch and more dancing. It was a very fun, relaxed party and everyone was dancing up a storm, which made my job easy. Mazal Tov to Sarah and her family on her Bat Mitzvah. Being my first time doing portraits at Shir Tikva Congregation, it was a fun challange working in a new environment. I think we were able to come up some nice views of the Synagogue and got some really fun shots of Max with his brother and sister. All in all it was a fun morning and we got some great portraits. by admin no comments It was a groovy time at Jackie’s Bat Mitzvah party last weekend. Oak Ridge Country Club was decked out with some fantastic sixty’s themed decorations and Sarge and his crew were in the house to get the party rock’in. There was some great food and desserts, The Traveling Photobooth was there, and the airbrushed pillow cases by Larry’s Rare-Air, were a big hit with the kids. It was a fun group who really enjoyed dancing, games on the dance floor and hamming it up for my camera. Jackie was a sweet-heart to work with, we got a ton of great photos from the party and her portrait session, earlier in the week.
