Maddy’s Sweet Celebration – Bat Mitzvah Photographer Minnetonka

Maddy’s Bat Mitzvah celebration was a sweet one. I had the pleasure of photographing Maddy’s portraits earlier in the week before her Bat Mitzvah. She is fun young lady and we got some great photos with her and her family.

It was another busy weekend and special thanks go out to my good friend Myron for doing a wonderful job of capturing Maddy’s party at the Marriot West. David and and the crew from Level 11 Events were on hand keeping the party rocking all night long. The dance floor was a busy spot with games, dancing and a classic Hora to cap off the evening. Great food and a huge chocolate fountain all helped make Maddy’s night a sweet celebration for friends and family alike. Mazel Tov to Maddy and her family.

Josh’s Fabulous House of Games – Bar Mitzvah Photographer Minneapolis Minnesota

Mazel Tov to Josh and his family on his Bar Mitzvah. It was great to work with his family again and see what a great young man that Josh has become.

Having photographed his brother’s Bar Mitzvah a few year back, it was fun to see everyone again. We did a family portrait session at Adath Jeshurun earlier in the week and then I joined them at Josh’s celebration party on Saturday night. Everyone had a great time at Josh’s Fabulous House of Games. After some great food and desserts, it was wall to wall card games. The Black Jack and Poker tables were very popular and when that didn’t provide enough excitement Josh’s guests could try their hands at Bingo or wager on horse races from Canterbury Park. It was fun evening for young and old alike and so nice to see so many friends and past clients.

Peace, Love and Kylie! – Bat Mitzvah Photographer Minneapolis

Kylie’s 60′s themed bat mitzvah celebration was a wonderful event a few weeks back, at the Golden Valley Country Club. The room was colorfully decked out in dye-dyed colors and peace signs. Sarge and the crew from Level 11 Events was there to spin the grooves on the dance floor and many a guest was dressed to show off their flower-power. Kylie and her friends were busy with the dancing and games for most the evening till we got some of the adults warmed up and strutting their stuff. It was a playful crowd and fun evening, which made for some great photography. Check out the fun video recap for a taste of the action. Hannah’s State Fair – Bat Mitzvah Photography Minneapolis

We had a wonderful time photographing Hannah’s Bat Mitzvah celebration a few weeks back. I had the pleasure of photographing Hannah and her family at their Synagogue a week or so before her actual Bat Mitzvah. Everyone was so easy to work with and we really got some fantastic portraits for Hannah.

I was out of town on assignment the weekend of Hannah’s party, so my good friend Myron stepped in to capture Hannah’s State Fair themed party at Oak Ridge Country Club. The place was decked out to nines with State Fair food booths and goodies for everyone. Sarge and his crew from Level 11 jazzed up the dance floor and kept the kids and adults shaking on the dance floor, starting things off with a grand entrance for Hannah which led into great Horrah. Get Flipped was there doing their photobooth thing for all the guests and after dinner, Daniel, Hannah’s younger brother, put on a very special dance presentation in honor of Hannah’s big day. Myron said it was a wonderful party and from all the fun photos I think I will agree. Mazel Tov to Hannah on her Bat Mitzvah!

Abbi’s Bat Mitzvah – Bat Mitzvah Photography Minneapolis

Mazel Tov to Abbi on her Bat Mitzvah. I had a wonderful time with Abbi and her family a few weeks ago and we got some fantastic photos. We started her big weekend with a Friday afternoon portrait session at Bet Shalom. Abbi was so easy and fun to work with and it was great to meet her extended family that was in from out of town. On Saturday I photographed the Kiddush lunch after her service. The hall was beautifully decorated in Abbi’s favorite color, pink, and there was a wonderful brunch for everyone to enjoy. Great friends and good conversations made for a fun celebration.

Daniel’s Bar Mitzvah – Bar Mitzvah Photography St. Paul Minneapolis

Daniel had a wonderful Bar Mitzvah weekend a few weeks ago. He’s a great kid and fun to work with. Due to some schedule conflicts I was only available to photograph Daniel’s portrait session at Temple Israel. Myron then photographed his party celebration at Como Zoo’s Visitor Center that Saturday evening. From the photos and what Myron had to say, it’s sounds like it was a great event. Total Entertainment was on hand keeping the kids entertained with dancing and games and it looks like everyone got in on the action when it was time for the celebration Horah. The food was great and it was beautiful evening on the deck for Daniel’s guests to cool off after shaking it down on the dance floor. Special thanks to Myron for a great job capturing a fun evening of celebration.

Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah – Bar Mitzvah Photography Minneapolis

We started off a busy Labor Day weekend photographing Jacob for his Bar Mitzvah. With some fun portraits at the synagogue we got things rolling and despite the unseasonably warm weather, Jacob put on his best face and got some great shots of him and his family.

Sunday was the big celebration at the Golden Valley Country Club. Jacob is a big fan of video games so they had the room decked out with several large-screen video stations. The kids had all types of games to choose from… Mario Cart, Guitar Hero and Call of Duty were a few of the favorites. Ross and the crew from A-List Entertainment were on hand to keep things grooving on the dance floor with some great tunes and games. Once the sun went down the party kicked into high gear with the A-List Glo Show which helped to wrap up a great evening. It was a great time and we got a lot of great photos. Yoni’s Israeli Experience – Bar Mitzvah Photography Minneapolis

Yoni’s Bar Mitzvah celebration was quite the worldly experience, with a little slice of Israel to spice things up. Friends and family were greeted by a fun, Isreali-styled customs officials stamping their passports for their evening adventure. With passports in hand, Yoni’s guests got to challenge their knowledge of Israel at the Jeopardy booth, play Twister, and create their own friendship bracelets. The room was wonderfully decorated by Sandra at Your Sentimental Fool with American and Israeli flags and even the President was there for a diplomatic photo booth. Everyone enjoyed the Isreali swag they got at the trading post. The buffet was great and the Israeli dancing afterward was even better. Yoni and his family put on a great show and it made for a wonderful evening.

Max’s Morning – Bar Mitzvah Photographer Minneapolis

Spent a beautiful, late-summer morning with Max and his family photographing his Bar Mitzvah a few weeks ago. The weather was perfect, so we started with a few fun photos out front of the synagogue and then headed inside to capture some portraits in the sanctuary. Max and his brothers are great kids, fun to work with and that helped make for some great photos. Once we wrapped up the portraits I headed up to the balcony to photograph the service. Max did a wonderful job and with the morning light streaming through the windows it photographed beautifully.

When the service concluded, everyone hung around to enjoy a Kiddush brunch. There was a huge buffet to enjoy, Rubik’s Cubes were handed out as gifts to Max’s friends (He’s a Rubik master form what I hear.) and I grabbed some more fun photos of family and friends. It was a great morning to help Max celebrate this special event in his life. Mazel Tov to him and his family.

Twice The Fun – Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah Photography Minneapolis

Evan and Sydney celebrated their Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s in grand style at Shelter Studio in north Minneapolis a few weeks ago. They started out the evening with a limo ride to the studio and after a few photos we headed inside where the kids got to check out all of the great decorations and stylings from Festivities. The place was looking great, Ross and his crew from A-List Entertainment were on the scene and once the guests arrived it was party time. With the grand entrance of Evan and Sydney, everyone was on the dance floor shaking it down and having a great time. Get Flipped was in the studio doing a photo booth and with a couple different buffet stations everyone could find something great to eat. Friends and family alike had a great time. It was a wonderful evening that was full of action and made for great photos. We always love that.
